Anthony Yelovich was born in Clifton, NJ and grew up playing youth hockey for the New Jersey Avalanche/Mid-Fairfield Blues. He was the captain of his team in 2005 and 2006 and led them to a Bronze medal in 2005. Shortly after Yelovich left to play for Gunnery Prep and was a member of the top scoring line among all New England prep schools. His stellar play got him noticed by Sacred Heart University, where he played all four years and made it to the Atlantic Hockey finals in 2008. Following his college career, Anthony pursued professional hockey ambitions overseas where he played a season for Zagreb Medvescak in Austria. Yelovich is currently giving back his knowledge to New Jersey hockey youth by coaching with the New Jersey Devils Youth organization as well as running hockey clinics in North New Jersey.
